The Fenwick Hockey program is holding a "Pink the Rink" Fundraising event over the next few weeks to help raise money for Cal's Angels, a 501(c)3 pediatric cancer foundation with a mission of granting wishes, raising awareness, and funding research to help kids fighting cancer. We were referred to this great organization by the family of one of our players who was unfortunately diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this fall. He has recently started chemotherapy and doctors and the family both remain hopeful he will make a full return to hockey and all other activities sometime soon. They said Cal's Angels was extremely helpful in their process, and suggested we send proceeds from the fundraiser to them. Between donations, T-shirt sales, and the jersey auction, we are hoping to raise $10,000.
